Zing Zumm CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF JACKSONVILLE’S “COASTAL NC” EXHIBIT OPENS MARCH 15, 2022

MARCH 15, 2022, Jacksonville, North Carolina. Zing Zumm Children’s Museum of Jacksonville is excited to announce the opening of a brand new exhibit called COASTAL NC. The COASTAL NC exhibit aims to benefit visitors by educating them through play about our local beaches, fisheries, ecosystems, recycling, and recreation along with environmentally themed science programs about restoration, conservation, and preservation.

The Children’s Museum of Jacksonville has partnered with local companies and organizations customizing the COASTAL NC exhibit to reflect the very nature of our coastal areas. Sponsored in large part by Jarrett Bay Boatworks, Burrito Shak, and Coastal Bank NC, this new exhibit allows children to be a pirate, balance the waves, be a lighthouse keeper while saving the turtles and helping keep the beaches clean, all motivated through play learning.

Zing Zumm Children’s Museum of Jacksonville is a 501(c)(3) corporation located in downtown Jacksonville at 625 New Bridge Street. General Admission is $8 per person. Check the website at www.zingzumm.org for all museum exhibit features, annual membership passes, hours of operation, calendar of events and how to get involved.

The Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) defines a children’s museum as a nonprofit educational and cultural institution committed to serving the needs and interests of children by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning.

Zing Zumm Children’s Museum of Jacksonville will engage all children through hands-on learning experiences that promote play, inspire imagination, foster creativity, and spark exploration in a fun, family friendly environment.
