The week of May 9th-13th is all about our Community and Medical Helpers, so our friend Dr. Pokorny is coming to read to us on Tuesday, May 10th at 11am! This event is FREE with admission, and no registration is required.
Summer day camp is BACK, and this time we’re bringing you 3 full weeks! Each week is Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm for ages 5-10. Each week campers will have a blast exploring the museum and participating in activities that are fun, exciting, and help their growing minds! And each week is different, so come more than once for more fun! Day camp is $100 per week or $25 per day. Registration is required. For more information and to register, click the links below.
We’re turning 3 1/2 this year! What better way to kick off the summer than by celebrating 3 1/2 years of serving the Onslow County community?! From 10am-5pm on Saturday, June 11th we’ll have visits from food trucks, local businesses, face painting, a DJ and dancing, a bounce house, birthday popsicles, and MORE. This event is FREE with admission (bring a donation for the Onslow County CHEW house for $3 off!) and no registration is required. Click the link above for more information.
Interactive Storytime is every Tuesday at 11am and is a great chance for children to absorb early language and literacy skills while they are moving! We bring stories to life and extend creative thinking through engaging activities and active group imaginative play. Interactive Storytime is FREE with your admission and registration is not required. Check out what we’ve got planned by visiting our calendar.
Every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm our Creation Station is set up with everything you need to get creative, crafty, and messy with your family! Art Exploration is all about engaging in different age-appropriate mediums of art: watercolors, collages, drawing, painting, using unique tools or textures to create. Children are able to explore and develop unique individual creative expression skills while focusing on the overall exploration process of the art experience rather than the final product. This event is FREE with admission. Registration is not required.
Come join us every Thursday at 10:30am in our Tot Spot for a morning of fun with you and your little one! We’ll read short stories, sing songs, and learn early literacy skills while also socializing with other adults in a supportive environment. Stretches, tummy time, and movement are incorporated to encourage new milestones and promote early development while building foundational skills. Baby & Me is ideal for children ages 0-nonwalkers as it will include activities which can help promote early sensory and motor development. This even is FREE with admission. Registration is not required.
Every Friday at 11am we host a weekly Toddler Time. Toddler Time is a wonderful opportunity for little hands to practice their fine motor skills, experiment with sensory activities, get their wiggles out, socialize and more while parents and adults are able to socialize in a supportive environment. Toddler time is FREE with admission, and registration is not required.
