Rent the Museum - After Hours
Need a large space for your event? Or just want the museum all to yourself? We can help with that.


We offer the option of renting the museum after we are closed to the public. This rental package is available for birthdays (a more exclusive experience than our typical birthday package), family gathering, office/work event, charity event, and more. Rent the Museum After Hours pricing varies with your needs, and starts at $200 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Members receive 10% off*.

Rent the Museum-After Hours at Zing Zumm includes:
  • Admission for your guests up to 150 people.
  • Full access to the museum, including our large Party Room with provided tables and chairs.
  • Access to our full-size refrigerator/freezer combo in the Party Room for use. You are welcome to bring food, cake, drinks (no alcohol), and paper products. (Please help us remind your guests that food and drinks must stay in the party room for allergy, safety and cleanliness reasons. There will be a sign at the entrance of the party room, but the hosts help communicating this is appreciated.)
  • Tablecloths and clean-up.
What you need to know before booking:
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your date. Full payment is due the day of your event.
  • We do not have cake or other food services at the museum, but you’re welcome to bring these items.
  • We have partnered with Honey Baked Ham of Jacksonville to make having food at your event a breeze! If you’re interested in placing an order, keep an eye out on the bottom of your receipt and confirmation email for the ordering link.
  • Decorate as you please! We love it when hosts get creative with the Party Room space. No decorations can be attached to or hung from the walls or ceilings. All decorations must be free-standing or on the tables provided. If any decorations are found attached to the walls or ceiling a $50 fee will be charged to the party host. No confetti, please.
  • Hosts will be admitted 30 minutes before their event time for set-up.
  • Events must be booked at least 14 days in advance for scheduling purposes.
  • Check out our Rules of Play to ensure we are a good fit for your event needs.
  • *Please be advised that any discounts (including membership) cannot and will not be applied after booking your event. Members, you MUST log in prior to booking to receive your discount.
