Zing Zumm partners with NECTAR Environmental Outreach to offer science-based programming at children’s museum
[Jacksonville, NC]: Zing Zumm today announced a new partnership with NECTAR Environmental Outreach. This partnership will bring science and engineering programming to the museum in afterschool and weekend sessions.
“We, Zing Zumm and NECTAR, hope to introduce science in new and exciting ways to children and parents” says Samantha, Executive Director at Zing Zumm. “We’ve seen a lot of parents begin homeschooling for the first time this year and want to be an additional resource for them as well.”
“Through our community partnership, NECTAR and Zing-Zumm will provide exciting activities that demystify science terms and bring key concepts to life. The programs offered through this new community partnership will not only mentor and challenge kids today but develop the thinkers and problem-solvers of tomorrow” says Alison, CEO of NECTAR.
The benefits of this new partnership include.
- Low-cost science programming taught by real scientists
- Family style, interactive programming
- Resources for parents to boost their confidence in teaching or guiding science studies at home
