Often described as children’s work, it is the primary vehicle for discovery, creativity, joy, and practice. But we also know a small secret, adults need to play too!

Zing Zumm's 2025 Mardi Gras Gala

Step into a night of New Orleans magic at the Zing Zumm Children’s Museum of Jacksonville! Join us on Friday, February 14th, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. for an unforgettable evening of celebration, style, and spirited fun!

Attire: Dress to impress in your Mardi Gras cocktail best!
Entertainment: Enjoy live music, dancing, and all the festive vibes!
Food & Drink: Savor delicious Cajun eats with a cash bar serving your favorite cocktails.
Activities: Try your luck at our 50/50 raffle, bid on amazing items at our silent auction, and soak in the Mardi Gras atmosphere.

Tap Into Play 2024

Join us for our FIRST annual TAP Into Play, Grown-ups ONLY night of play at the museum.

Clove Hitch Beer Co. will be on site serving drinks. Pizza is on the menu. DJ Tiny Tim is playing the tunes. The museum will be open for play and exploration at your own pace AND our programming staff have a full line up of activities including Slime Making, Engineering Fun, Movement activities & MORE!

General Admission tickets for this event are $30 and include 1 free drink and dinner/snacks. Doors open at 7pm.

VIP tickets are available for $50 and include 2 free drinks, dinner/snacks, early access at 6:30 pm, swag bag, and commemorative glass (snag these tickets quick! There are only 40 available.)

Come prepared to purchase extra drinks, swag, and bid on some great silent auction baskets! All proceeds support the museum’s amaZING programs and outreach.
